Codes and Conventions : Print Adverts

  • Print Adverts tend to use one central image , prevents complexity
  • The image used draws the audience in
  • Colour schemes are used to reflect the image itself or reflect a theme
  • Limited wording is used as the image gives the information about the advert and subject
  • At times a website can be used on the advert
  • The image is not manipulated much so that it is as close to real life as possible
  • The scheduling of the program is underneath the title
  • At times a block or banner is around the title so that it is easy to see and read
