Codes and Conventions : Radio Adverts

  • Audio clips from within documentary such as vox pops or interviews from the documentary itself
  • The voice used in the radio advert is the same as the voiceover in the documentary itself
  • Radio adverts are short and can vary from 20 to 30 seconds
  • The advert states the scheduling of the program
  • Slogan of the program is used
  • The date and time of the program are clearly stated
  • The music used in the background is relevant to the documentary and relevant to the theme
