The documentary as a whole follows many codes and conventions used in a documentary style of work, for example throughout the work there is a narrative that leads the documentary by repeating the current answer posed by the interviewee or by asking a question before an interview takes place. There is a use of vox pops during the opening sequence which is different people answering the same question. Simple white font graphics were used introducing the interviewees, this is done to keep the audience focused on the narrative without distraction from the graphics.
Our documentary can be compared to real life documentaries such as the Devil made me do it, this documentary uses simple white graphics introcuding characters in order to keep the audience hooked on the narrative, the difference between this documentary than ours is that this one uses reconstructions to display certain events but ours does not. Similarities of our documentary is that archived footage is used to display a point and is relevant to the subject such as the footage of msuc videos or in our cases clips from adverts relevant to takeaways
